There is a new summer pavilion outside the Serpentine Gallery in Kensington Gardens designed by
Chilean architect Smiljan Radic . The pavilion is a torus or ring shape
supposedly resting on stone supports, although it is actually metal
supports encased in large stones which are used to give it stability.
There are also stones to sit on below the pavilion. The vent in the
front gives a glimpse of the inside of the pavilion. It is open to the
public from 26 June to 19 October 2014.
