The Shard, London Bridge Station

The Shard building next to London Bridge Staion, is nearing completion. It already towers over the other buildings in the area. As constuction progressed, the tower gradually took shape. Taken on the same day, these two photographs show the building from two opposite direction. Above is the western and southern sides. Below is the view of the northern and eastern sides. Further pictures of the construction of the Shard can be seen on my set on Flickr.

Graffiti need not be ugly, Banksy in Pollard Street

Graffiti need not be ugly but can easily lead to a mess. This Banksy in Pollard Street, Bethnal Green, has gradually been vandalised.
