Snow always makes for some good photos if you can get the exposure right.
The new Pogoda is being built in Victoria Park as part of the restoration work. It is not finished but it looks good in the snow:

Chinese New Year, Gerrard Street, Chinatown, London, January 2012
The decorations are back in Chinatown ahead of the Chinese New Year on 23 January 2012. As well as the Chinese lanterns around Gerrard Street, there is plenty of food including highly-decorated cakes.

Things do not always work out the way you expected.
Appearing Rooms by Jeppe Hein outside the Royal Festival Hall at the Southbank Centre in London. The walls of water vary to create different spaces and to allow people to enter and exit the spaces.
The corridor round the 2011 Serpentine Gallery summer pavilion, Hortus Conclusus, designed by the Swiss architect Peter Zumthor. It is a transitional area between the outside world and the garden within the pavilion. A building site in East London at the weekend.
